In the distant past, during the era of fairy tales, the radiance of the world was safeguarded by seven Keyblade wielders who dwelt in Daybreak Town: the Master of Masters and his six pupils. A catastrophic struggle has been anticipated and the world's destruction is imminent. The Master of Masters designates exclusive functions to his apprentices and directs them to build Unions comprising of other Keyblade wielders to fix the predicament. Shortly thereafter, the Master disappears.
