Kiitarou's visual diary chronicles his encounters with youkai. Despite possessing a powerful spirit sense, he was banished from his home for trespassing into a forbidden storehouse. However, fate led him to cross paths with Suzu, a zashiki warashi, who welcomed him into her abode. Together, they began to draw in an array of spirit creatures, beginning with a nurikabe and mokumokuren. With each new folkloric entity they encounter, Kiitarou's journey becomes more riveting.
