Geoul Hosu-ui Jeonseol is a film adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen that takes place in Central Asia. The movie tells the story of siblings Kai and Shamui as they attempt to flee from a group of wolves in a snow-covered landscape. Unfortunately, their escape is cut short by a massive avalanche that buries them both. Despite the efforts of Kai's mother and their community, only Kai survives. Shamui perishes and sinks into the freezing waters of the Snow Queen's lake, which is owned by the powerful and notorious Hattan.
