"Project D" is a racing squad created by Takumi Fujiwara and the Takahashi brothers, Keisuke and Ryousuke, with the objective of pushing their driving abilities to the limit beyond their region. By leveraging the internet, they send challenges to other racing teams and share their race outcomes. Under Ryousuke's leadership, Takumi partakes in downhill races with his AE86 while Keisuke tackles opponents on uphill tracks. The Seven-Star Leaf (SSR) and Todo-juku are some of their toughest competitors.
