The previously unidentified assailants behind the attacks have been traced back to Nara and are associated with the perilous leader, Himiko, and the Yamato School. Kanto's warriors have identified these individuals, as they strip Hakufu Sonsaku and Moutoku Sousou of their Magatama jewels, leaving only Gentoku Ryuubi to lead. To strengthen their forces, Nanyo, Kyosho, and Seito unite for the counteroffensive, expecting to fall into a cunning ambush. Despite anticipating a skilled trap, Hakufu insists on participating. Unfortunately, she is left behind at a station en route to Nara.
