Human civilization teeters on the brink of extinction as birth rates have consistently declined over decades. The world as they knew it is now a post-apocalyptic wasteland, overrun by fairies with advanced technology, a sweet tooth, and little regard for remaining humans. The scarce human survivors rely solely on remnants of the past to survive. After finishing her studies, a young woman returns to her hometown to act as a United Nations mediator between fairies and humans. Believing the task to be simple, she quickly learns that regulating the consequences of the fairies' sugar-fueled antics requires more diligence than anticipated.
