By holding hands with their partner, they can surpass time and reach the enigmatic world of Ziggurat. However, only victorious Hand Shakers are given the chance to have an encounter with God and make a single wish. Tazuna Takatsuki, a skilled high school student who is passionate about fixing things, becomes a Hand Shaker when he meets Koyori Akutagawa, a young girl confined to a bed who closely resembles his deceased sister. When he holds her hand, he realizes his previously unknown Hand Shaker abilities, but he discovers that Koyori's life is intertwined with their newfound powers. If he lets go of her hand, she will perish. Together, they must use their unique strengths, conquer their enemies, and fulfill their deepest desires by meeting God.
