The movie takes place in a divergent timeline from the television series and manga, presenting a traditional Cinderella tale intertwined with the style of 1980s dancing. Tsukushi Makino is a novice dancer striving to attain the lead role in a New York Performance troupe. With the support of Rui Hanazawa and Tsukasa Doumyouji, she endeavors to rise to prominence in the production.
