Living in Okinawa with her grandmother who runs the "Kame Soba" soba shop, Nanafa Kyan shares a home with her older high school sister Nao and her younger elementary-school aged sister Kokona, who possesses remarkable supernatural senses. One fateful day, Nanafa watches in awe as a seal falls from a towering Chinese banyan tree, inadvertently releasing three spirits from their captivity, including Niina and Raana, two mystical "jimunaa" spirits, as well as Iina, a spirit that takes the form of an Okinawan lion statue. With the arrival of these mystical beings, Nanafa and her family's idyllic existence undergoes a transformative shift.
