The stench of decay is all-pervading in Okinawa, and it doesn't take Kaori and her group long to pinpoint its origin - dead fish are surfacing from the ocean. These fish are supposedly attached to metallic contraptions and bear a lethal disease that was created as an unknown weapon. After Tadashi's untimely demise, Kaori discovers herself in a strange domain that appears similar to her world, save for the never-ending reek of death.
