Ichiko Sakura's life is a cakewalk, blessed with a wealth of fortune and everything her heart desires - brains, beauty, and bucks. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Momiji Bindboda is a destitute deity whose existence is riddled with misery - a broken arm, a lack of curves, and homeless, residing in a cardboard box beneath a bridge. However, with the aid of the wandering monk Bobby Statice, Ichiko thwarts the poverty goddess's plans. In retaliation, Momiji summons Kumagai, her trusted teddy bear familiar, and Momoo Inugami, the odd masochistic dog god. What ensues is pure madness as Ichiko's previously peaceful life is consumed by daily battles to retain her riches.
