The story centers on the mysterious and dangerous island referred to only as "G". Once upon a time, a powerful deity named Gestalt was banished to the mortal realm and sought shelter on the isle of G. Its inhabitants fear the god's wrath and consequently, speaking the island's name is a taboo. Father Oliver, having abandoned his sect, embarks on an expedition to G in search of the truth. Along the way, he forges a friendship with the talented sorceress Ohri. Meanwhile, the Order's leader employs the services of a shadow elf named Suzu to capture Oliver. Suzu manages to locate him but did not anticipate Ohri's magic. The young sorceress temporarily neutralizes Suzu, and the pair moves forward. Their journey is worsened by encounters with G's magical wielders and monsters.
