SUMMARY
In the Sengoku period of Japan, Kyokutei Bakin's acclaimed epic tale, Nansou Satomi Hakkenden, depicts the Satomi clan receiving assistance from eight samurai. These warriors from the Edo era are said to embody the spirits of Princess Fuse's children, fathered by the dog Yatsufusa. In Fuse Gansaku: Satomi Hakkenden, the story's protagonist, Hamaji, a female hunter, pursues her sibling in order to track down Fuse. This reignites the Satomi family's cycle of revenge, which first began long ago.
