In their small Japanese town, Kana Koumoto and her friends lead a mundane life with little excitement. They attend school, hang out, and engage in simple activities like painting nails and listening to music. Despite their attempts to find meaning in their routine, the days blur into each other with no end in sight. To shake things up, Kana and her friends decide to build a bottle rocket and launch it into space, despite the risk of failure. Unfortunately, their plans are thwarted by a sudden robot crash that destroys the rocket. But this is only the beginning of Kana's unexpected adventure. A strange pink-haired woman appears, introducing herself as a "Galactic Investigator." Kana is suddenly thrust into a world of emotions, losing and gaining friends, and even navigating romantic struggles. Through it all, she realizes that life is fleeting and must be lived to the fullest. But the appearance of the robots at the most inopportune moments raises even more questions for Kana and her newfound allies.
