Although women's soccer in Japan has suffered a reduction in its standing, there are still schools that seek to preserve the athletic endeavor. Even amidst the decline, sparks of hope can be found. Nozomi Onda, who had developed her exceptional abilities by playing on her former middle school's boys' soccer team, feels that her performance would be hampered by playing alongside girls. Onda excels when facing formidable opponents. Conversely, Sumire Suou is an exceptional newcomer whose skill is constrained by her team's inability to keep up with her. Reluctant at first but convinced by her coach, Onda later agrees to join a girls' soccer team alongside Suou and her good rival, Midori Soshizaki. Together, they become members of the Warabi Seinan High School women's soccer team, eager to unleash their full potential and talents, all while striving for success with their teammates.
