Hiroshi Zenno, an ordinary high school student, excels solely in arcade games. His life takes an unexpected turn when he breaks his own record of over nine hundred million points in his beloved game and spots an advert for a fresh game called "Expers," promising fascinating gameplay and the potential to win over the stunning Princess Atover. Thrilled, Hiroshi enrolls in the game. The following day, an unknown pod crashes into Hiroshi's classroom, and Princess Atover emerges from inside it. She equips Hiroshi with a powered suit that grants him superhuman abilities and declares him the lead protagonist of a video game, naming him "Zenon." However, in order to succeed, Hiroshi must confront and defeat his adversaries, who are fellow contenders for the position of "main character."
