Kousuke and Natsume have been best friends since childhood. Living in the same apartment complex as sixth-graders, they frequently play together. Unfortunately, one summer, they have a mysterious experience that transports them to an endless sea. Stranded and disoriented, the two kids must find their way back home. Throughout the summer, they face a series of goodbyes on their journey back to reality.
