The tranquility of Earth is disrupted when Sorbet and Tagoma, remnants of Frieza's army, arrive with the intention of reviving their former leader using the Dragon Balls. They intimidate Emperor Pilaf and two other individuals into relinquishing their Dragon Balls. Frieza, harboring resentment towards Gokuu Son and Future Trunks, is successfully resurrected and pledges to eliminate them, although Sorbet informs him that Trunks has been absent for years and Gokuu is now stronger than Majin Buu. Nevertheless, Frieza is resolute and believes he can overcome Gokuu with only a few months of training.
