Dragon Ball Kai follows the life of Gokuu, a skilled martial artist. He is now a husband to Chi-Chi and a father to their son, Gohan. But their serenity is disrupted by the arrival of a fierce alien called Raditz. The alien reveals the truth about Gokuu's past and even kidnaps Gohan. Gokuu and his former enemy, Piccolo, team up hastily to save Gohan before it's too late. Unfortunately, Raditz warns them that there are more Saiyans like him, and they will stop at nothing to obtain the all-powerful Dragon Balls. As the tale progresses, Gokuu and his associates encounter a host of bizarre, amusing, endearing, and perilous creatures who pose increasingly more potent threats. They must use their abilities and skillset to protect their world and their loved ones.
