A normal feline named Kuro solely wishes to safeguard his elderly owners who lack the means to defend themselves. During a romantic outing with his canine companion, Pooly, he is snatched by a nefarious scientist and reborn as a cyborg. However, Kuro manages to remove the controlling chip and discovers that his android form frightens people, yet grants him the ability to speak like a person. He opts to mask his new appearance with a toy's skin and persist as a household pet.
