In a humor-laden film set in Tokyo and Aomori, the Nohara family confronts a war between two enemy factions: Tamayura and Tamayomi. The latter has a diabolic plan to summon the destructive genie Jarke and take over the planet. But the Tamayura brothers - Lavender, Lemon, and Rose - foil their scheme by stealing the key to awaken Jarke, or the "Jarke ball," from Tamayomi's bar girl gang. Alas, when Shinnosuke's sibling, Himawari, eats the sphere, the Nohara clan must unite with the Tamayura siblings and sleuth Yone Higashimatsuyama to battle the Tamayomi posse, who pursue them relentlessly.
