Kaoruko, also known as "Chaos," is a struggling manga artist with a passion for drawing high school girls but lacks creativity in her storyboards and artwork. Her concerned editor suggests that she become more social, so she moves into a dormitory for female manga artists. There, she meets Tsubasa, a shounen manga artist, Ruki, an erotic manga artist popular with women, and Koyume, a shoujo artist also waiting to be serialized. As they bond, Chaos finds new inspiration for her art, and the comic delves into their daily lives as they support each other in their artistic pursuits.
