The movie Colorful explores challenging concepts of fractured households and suicide and delves into the complexities of day-to-day strife that individuals confront but may feel embarrassed to tackle. Following its arrival at the train station of death, an impure spirit is unwillingly offered another shot at life and takes the body of a 14-year-old boy named Makoto Kobayashi who had taken his own life. Its mission is to discover the most grievous offense committed by Makoto while alive within six months. Although uncomfortable initially, the soul starts to understand the intricacies of emotions and actions exhibited by those around it.
