Having met his end in battle, Jin the samurai yearns for a fresh start in an impervious metallic form. He gets his wish granted upon waking up as a coffee dispenser in present-day Seoul. Nights bring him opportunities to join other samurais who have reincarnated as mundane items for further battles. Then comes the pivotal moment when Hemi buys her drink from Jin's vending machine, setting off a sequence of events binding their lives.
