Tomoya Okazaki is an apathetic delinquent who lacks interest in his high school studies. Neglected by his alcoholic father after a traumatic childhood experience, Tomoyo lives a solitary life until he coincidentally meets the enigmatic Nagisa Furukawa. Initially, Tomoya refuses Nagisa's gesture of friendship, but frequent encounters make him gradually discard his aloofness and embrace her companionship. When Nagisa expresses her desire to revive the Drama Club, Tomoya suppresses his indifference and assists her in realizing it. As they work together, their bond strengthens and transforms into a life-altering relationship. Despite encountering hurdles, they navigate them jointly and emerge victoriously.
