As a regular high school student, Haoxuan Sun was taken hostage in what appeared to be a robbery. However, a girl wearing a winged battle suit with bee-like bionics, known as Vanguard Liuli, saved him. Haoxuan soon discovered that he was being sought after by all the world powers as the "Son of Eden," disrupting his peaceful life. Together, he and Liuli worked to uncover the truth and defy their predetermined destiny, while discovering that his love interest, senior student Ye Bai, and his closest friend had hidden identities. The new BEE anime stays true to the manga's plot and includes the input of Baimao, the BEE manga author. Additionally, two new storylines, providing fresh content, are integrated into the show.
