The mecha anime is centered around a 13-year-old girl by the name of Meguru Tokio whose encounter with an older woman seeking refuge from an anonymous chaser sparks off an intriguing tale. The older lady is also named Meguru and has a challenging aura that both baffles and entrances the younger girl. Before long, Meguru is dragged into the older woman's feud with a secretive group that has also set their sights on her. The mastermind behind the group is an arrogant villain known as Rei. Initially, Meguru is dubious of her new companion's assertion that she hails from the future. As they join forces to operate a dimensional robot against their foes, Meguru Tokio's skepticism dwindles. They engage Rei in a fierce battle, and the younger Meguru eventually realizes that the older woman is her descendant despite her apparent youthfulness. When they discover that the elder Meguru's time surveillance gadget has picked up on someone traveling back in time, they follow suit and embark on a journey into the past.
