Carol's narrative revolves around an average teenage girl whose existence undergoes an eerie transformation when she becomes aware of the disappearance of music from her surroundings. Strange voices begin to ring in Carol's ears, and she is abruptly transported to an extraordinary realm where she confronts heinous creatures who are committed to stripping Earth of its music.
