Cardfight Vanguard, the globally famous card game, has influenced numerous individuals to incorporate card games into their daily routine. Referred to as "cardfighters," players often engage in battles at local card shops. Among the game's enthusiasts is Aichi Sendou, a bashful and introverted individual who faces ridicule and harassment from his peers. Whenever Aichi feels disheartened, he finds inspiration in Blaster Blade, a rare and legendary card given to him during his youth, and gains the strength to carry on. Unfortunately, one day, school bully Katsumi Morikawa steals Aichi's card. After a series of events, Aichi discovers that the card now belongs to Toshiki Kai, a newcomer who has become the strongest player in town. Adding to his distress, Kai declares that he will only return the card if Aichi beats him in a cardfight. Surprisingly, Aichi gathers his courage and envisions victory, venturing into the thrilling world of Cardfight Vanguard.
