Despite being a talented artist and high school student, Asou Daisuke is currently facing an art block that is impeding his paintings. Tachibana Amane, his childhood friend who holds deep affection for him, motivates him to paint a portrait of Kimikage Yurina, a girl getting ready for surgery because of her cardiac ailment. While Daisuke is reminded of his artistic skills, he also discovers that he and Amane reciprocate romantic feelings for each other.
