Black Jack, the Japanese doctor known as the "Surgeon with the Hands of God," travels worldwide performing astonishing surgical feats. Though celebrated for his skills, he earns widespread animosity, particularly from the medical community, due to his noncompliance with regulations and exorbitant fees. Pinoko, a girl whose creation Black Jack accomplished through a distinctive type of tumor known as teratoma, remains his sole loyal companion, although she insists they are married.
