In the midst of the Korean War in 1951, young Manuk spends his days playing in the village streets and daydreaming about his father's life as a soldier at the front lines. Upon returning home, he discovers a package left at the doorstep. Believing it to be a birthday present, he eagerly unwraps it, unaware that its contents will have a profound impact on his future.
