Following the release of the Playstation version of Resident Evil 4, Capcom subsequently launched a 97-minute DVD that aimed to provide an overview of the entire storyline. The DVD features English audio accompanied by Japanese subtitles, as well as a small booklet that sheds light on life in El Pueblo prior to the arrival of Osmund Saddler. Additionally, the DVD resolves certain inconsistencies, such as the location of the children, by including numerous scenes that were present in the original Resident Evil 4.
