Filled with a fervent love for Battle Spirits, Shunta Mogami's universe is abruptly flipped on its head when he is inexplicably whisked away to Spirits World via a beam emitted from one of his Battle Spirits cards. There, Shunta encounters the summoner Eto, who has enlisted his help in staving off impending doom brought about by the now-unleashed Evil God-King - a nefarious entity previously vanquished and imprisoned. Alongside the skilled green-deck player from another dimension, Yoku Albatrosa, the trio embarks on a mission to locate the twelve God-Kings who originally subdued the heinous Evil God-King.
