Dr. Komyoji, a brilliant robotics professor, designed Jiro, a humanoid robot, to protect his children, Masaru and Mitsuko. Jiro has the unique ability to transform into Kikaider and possesses a conscience circuit that allows him to feel simulated emotions, enabling him to distinguish right from wrong.
