The story revolves around Kakeru Daichi, who is just an ordinary high school student. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he buys a can of melon juice and it transforms into a breathtaking girl whom he calls "Melon." Soon, he encounters more "Akikan" girls, which are empty cans that come to life. These Akikan girls need carbon dioxide to become human, so they must be carbonated.
