Neku wakes up disoriented at Shibuya's bustling Scramble Crossing, unable to recall how he ended up there. Unbeknownst to him, he has been transported to a parallel dimension referred to as the Underground (UG). Involuntarily caught up in the enigmatic "Reapers' Game," Neku forms an alliance with a young woman named Shiki in order to endure. Working in tandem, they fulfill various objectives and conquer creatures dubbed the "Noise," gradually piecing together the Game's true essence. To thrive in Shibuya, you have to put your faith in your partner - this is the only way to make it through the Reapers' Game. Will Neku and Shiki overcome the trials and tribulations that await them?
