800 years ago, demons posed a grave threat to mankind's survival. Humans prayed to their deities for deliverance, and as a result, the powerful and superhuman Idaten battle deities emerged. These deities successfully defeated the demons, leading to a peaceful era for humanity. However, the current generation of Idaten has grown up without experiencing the fear and terror of demons. They have lived in a world of peaceful coexistence, unaware of their true powers. In order to adapt to a world where they seem to have become obsolete, they train under Rin, the only surviving member of the original Idaten. But when the tyrannical Zoble Empire revives a demon, the Idaten are summoned to the battlefield once again, against their age-old enemy. These unconventional gods must rise to the occasion to fight for mankind's survival once again.
