Anna Williams from G Corporation invites Ling Xiaoyu, a high school student, to enroll at Kyoto University to collect intel on Shin Kamiya. At the same time, Alisa Bosconovitch is sent by Mishima Zaibatsu's leader, Jin Kazama, on the same mission. Even though they are unaware of each other's reasons for being there, Xiaoyu and Alisa form a strong bond. However, their relationship is threatened when Shin is abducted by an unidentified perpetrator.
