On a far-flung sea lies a diminutive isle that harbors an array of peculiar creatures yet undiscovered by mankind. Paroru, a child of the island, happens upon a snapshot of the human world and becomes enamored with its beauty, which leads the rule-breaking youngster to venture off the isle. Paroru and others share in the excitement of experiencing the human world for the first time, but their journey is fraught with unforeseen perils. Will they make it to their destination unscathed? This was among the four Anime Mirai (Young Animator Training Project) films backed by the Japanese government's Agency of Cultural Affairs in 2014 to assist in the training of animators.
