Looking forward to his university life, Keiichi Morisato soon realizes he's not very lucky in anything, be it clubs, love or just about anything else. Lamentably, he seems to have an unlucky star above his head. One day, when his seniors are away, he finds himself stuck with watching the dorm and heaps of chores to complete. Nevertheless, the good-hearted Keiichi sets off to do his duties. Just when he's about to complete his final chore, he makes a phone call to his seniors only to hear the words, 'Goddess Help Line,' in response. In no time, a stunningly beautiful goddess named Belldandy appears before him from the mirror of his room.
