An anime series has been created from the 4-panel strip manga, Nyoron Churuya-san, which features the lively and always adventurous Tsuruya, based on Suzumiya Haruhi's character. Churuya is a girl who absolutely adores smoked cheese, but unfortunately for her, Kyon and the rest of the gang are well aware of her weakness and use it to make her do their bidding, with the promise of smoked cheese as a reward. Churuya, however, is blissfully unaware of their wicked plan and continues to strive for her beloved cheese. The pursuit of smoked cheese proves to be an arduous task for Churuya, and her determination is tested each day.
