A hundred years after Otome Yamabuki, Rihan Nura's original spouse, vanished, the tale commences. Over time, Rihan eventually regains his composure and his routine returns to normal. He busies himself as the Nura Clan's leader, working to create a world where humans and youkais coexist in peace. Noticing Setsura's sadness one day, Rihan decides to perk her up by taking the group on a trip to a hot spring. It's in this location that Setsura divulges to Rihan that she'd encountered Otome a century before, shortly after she disappeared from Rihan's life. Setsura imparts Otome's message, but can it be trusted?
