The inspiration for this story comes from the manga "Noroiya Shimai" by Hirarin, currently being serialized in Monthly Comic Ryuu. It is set in a fantastical realm, where two siblings known as "noroiya" - or cursers - make a living using their magic skills. During their exploration of a colossal tree that bears resemblance to our world, they are unexpectedly transported to our reality. As they arrive, they encounter two terrified children who flee at the sight of them, and upon reaching home, discover that their parents have been transformed into monstrous creatures.
