The world of Evergreen has had five dangerous "seeds" taken from their secure vault and brought to Earth. To retrieve them, Natsuki, a Queen's agent, has enlisted the help of Chihaya, a middle school student who seems to be the only one capable of aiding him. Together, they transform Chihaya into Magical Warrior Carmine, allowing her to save humans who have been possessed by the stolen seeds. However, many questions remain unanswered. Chihaya's mother has knowledge of this secretive mission, and Chihaya herself remembers her reportedly deceased father and dreams of her unknown homeland, Evergreen.
