Aya Asagiri thinks about taking her own life every day due to relentless bullying at school and physical abuse from her brother Kaname. One night, she stumbles upon a strange website called Magical Girl Site that offers her magical powers. Although initially skeptical, Aya finds a magical gun in her locker the following day and uses it to defend herself against her bullies. However, she is haunted by the fact that she killed two of her classmates with magic. Aya seeks to understand what is happening to her and is saved by a classmate named Tsuyuno Yatsumura, who has the ability to stop time with magic. Together, they must fight alongside and against other magical girls while uncovering the truth behind the website and an impending apocalyptic event called "The Tempest."
