At only 26 years old, Ureshiko Asaba embodies a double life. By day, she is a devoted spouse, but by night, she adopts the moniker "Agnes" and serves as a mystical protector. Her hidden activities are clandestine, known only to a privileged few, that is until she crosses paths with Sayaka Kurenai ("Cruje"), her replacement in the magical realm. However, Agnes isn't ready to surrender her post to Cruje, who intends to eliminate the town and its inhabitants. Agnes is grappling with her own quandaries - her matrimonial union is in shambles, and Tatsumi Kagura, a recent renter, is arousing unexpected feelings.
