As the year 2100 dawns, a groundbreaking endeavor to extract energy from the Moon is undertaken by a colony residing there. On the occasion of her twelfth birthday, Amami Kurau joins her father, who happens to be the leading scientist of the project, in the laboratory to witness the ongoing experiments. Tragically, a freak accident takes place as twin rays of light strike Kurau, leaving her father aghast to uncover a startling truth- his daughter is now the bearer of two powerful energy beings capable of performing extraordinary feats.
