Kaiketsu Zorori, based on Yutaka Hara's beloved storybooks of the same name, details the exploits of Zorori, a sly fox set on becoming the King of Mischief and erecting his own castle with a beautiful bride. Although Zorori is well-known for his pranks and deceitful schemes, they often end up inadvertently aiding his intended victims. Despite appearing nefarious and unscrupulous, he possesses a compassionate and sentimental side. Zorori's astuteness, intelligence, and nimbleness enable him to extricate himself from seemingly insurmountable predicaments. Accompanied by the twin boar bandits, Ishishi and Noshishi, he roams on a quest to honor his deceased mother.
