Aurora Village's chilly environment is suddenly getting warmer, causing the snow to melt. The Ham-Hams, who reside in the village, refer to Bijou as their Snow White Princess, with the power to bring the snow back. To summon her, Crystal, the snow fairy hamster, is dispatched by the Ham-Hams. Crystal searches and finds Bijou before leading her back to the village, where Ham-Hams follow. Meanwhile, as the Pirate hamsters glide across the village in their flying ship, the captain, Hamstern captures Bijou to prevent her from praying for the snow. Despite being a prisoner, Bijou remains kind-hearted and cooks scrumptious meals for the hamsters. Upon discovering what Hamstern has done, Hamtaro and his team board the ship, ready to do everything needed to free Bijou. Wanting to find a compromise, Hamtaro and Hamstern participate in the Grand Prix, a race that involves various modes of transportation. If Hamstern emerged victorious, he would take Bijou away in his ship, but if Hamtaro won, Bijou would have the opportunity to pray for snow and be reunited with her friends.
